RACESTUDIO assisted UC in preparing a master plan for a 400,000 SF Physical Science Complex. Berkeley's Departments of Physics, Astronomy, and Earth and Planetary Science are embarking on a new program to effect dramatic change in the education of our students and the future of research. The new Physical Sciences Complex will integrate Berkeley's strengths throughout the physical sciences. This model research and teaching facility will house faculty and students from multiple disciplines with a foundation in the traditional fields of physics and astronomy.

RACESTUDIO assisted UC prepare a site assessment and programming study for a new 270,000 SF molecular engineering building to be located on the Berkeley Campus. The study included physical massing and programmatic organization concepts for the historic Mining Circle site.

las vegas civic center master plan

RACESTUDIO and Facility Technics assisted the City of Las Vegas prepare a civic center plan. Featuring an integrated programming, asset management, economic development and urban design approach, the plan has fundamentally changed how the City manages and plans for the future. Early phases of the development program are underway with asset management of the existing city hall building and development of a new customer service facility. The plan proposes a new civic center complex a catalyst project for the emerging office core in the downtown.

johnson city regional performing arts center

As a result of RACESTUDIO's 1996 Cultural District Master Plan, Johnson City, Tennessee worked with RACESTUDIO to prepare a cultural facilities plan. A detailed building program, management plan, cost analysis, site plan and design guidelines were prepared for a cultural campus with special emphasis on a new 107,000 SF performing arts center.

Since 1994, RACESTUDIO has assisted Genentech prepare site development criteria for various site development projects including the Central Spine Project, Upper Facility Design Program, and food service facilities. RACESTUDIO has prepared design and technical programs for the Central Spine and the Upper Facility, and analyzed the current and future food service needs for Genentech's South San Francisco facilities.

riverside jet center

RACESTUDIO prepared a schematic design package for a design-build study for a new corporate jet center for Riverside's general aviation complex. The Jet Center included 12,000 SF of office space, welcome center and room for seven corporate aircraft. The design services were provided to the Riverside Redevelopment Agency.

marin city library, marin county

RACESTUDIO provided a design concept package for Marin County Redevelopment Agency. The package was used in a design-build approach to build a new small branch library.
